Public Participation
The Governor has declared a State of Emergency to exist in California as a result of the threat of COVID-19 (aka the "Coronavirus"). The Governor issued Executive Order N-25-20, which directs Californians to follow public health directives including canceling large gatherings. The Executive Order also allows local legislative bodies to hold meetings via conference calls while still satisfying state transparency requirements. The Governor has also issued Executive Order N-33-20, prohibiting people from leaving their homes or places of residence except to access necessary supplies and services or to engage in specified critical infrastructure employment. The Public's health and well-being are the top priority for the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District ("District") and you are urged to take all appropriate health and safety precautions. To facilitate this process, the meeting of the Board will be available via GoToWebinar and YouTube. Modified Meeting Procedures During COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) Pandemic REGULAR BOARD MEETING, August 18, 2020 If you wish to make a public comment regarding an item at this Regular Board Meeting, please follow these instructions: 1) A Google survey https://bit.ly/3bJBs7R “sign up” will be open to members of the public 2) Speakers will fill in name. 3) Speakers are asked to attend the Board meeting virtually through the GoToWebinar invitation link on at the top of the agenda. 4) When it is time for the speakers to address the Board, their name will be called and the microphone on their GoToWebinar account will be activated. 5) Speakers should rename their GoToWebinar profile names to their real names to expedite this process. 6) After the comment has been given, the microphone for the speaker’s GoToWebinar profile will be muted.
