Summary: On February 20, 2018, Resolution 2018-08 and on March 5, 2019, Resolution 2019-28, the Board of Education of Lodi Unified School District authorized staff to advertise and receive bids, as required by law, to furnish labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment and services required for Live Oak, Oakwood & Silva Facility Improvement-Paving & Parking Lot Project. On March 21, 2019, the District received three (3) bids. The lowest bidder was George Reed Construction Inc. of Modesto, California, in the amount of $1,683,039.00. Approval of this Resolution certifies the Award of Contract to George Reed Construction Inc. The total amount to be budgeted is $1,683,039.00, which includes a $220,000.00 District controlled construction allowance.
Funding: This project will be funded by Measure L and Measure U.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education adopt Resolution 2019-41.
