Summary: On February 20, 2018, Resolution 2018-08, the Board of Education of the Lodi Unified School District authorized staff to advertise and receive bids, as required by law, to furnish labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment and services required for the Needham Elementary School Sitework, DSA Increment 1 Project. On February 18, 2020, the District received five (5) bids. The lowest responsive bid was Diede Construction, Inc. of Lodi, California, in the amount of $4,043,000.00. Approval of this Resolution certifies the Award of Contract to Diede Construction, Inc. The total amount to be budgeted is $4,483,000, which includes a $440,000 District controlled construction allowance.
Funding: This project will be funded by Measure U and Fund 40.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education adopt Resolution 2020-23.
