Summary: At the 8/04/2020 Regular Board Meeting, several Board Members expressed interest in exploring a Risk Management position. Staff has discussed and will present to Board the option of converting the position of Director I, Facility & Planning into a Director I, Operations & Risk. This position would be re-organized under the M&O Director, and would effectively move those positions related to construction projects directly under the M&O Director, and those positions related to Risk under the Director, O&R. Planning and reporting duties would accrue to the Director, O&R as well. As this re-organization makes use of existing positions there is no budgetary implication.
