Summary On October 20, 2009, the Board of Education received a report on the proposed additions to Board Policy 1330, specifically detailing regulations for posting of advertising at District facilities.

Included in the report was a copy of the Civic Center Act, which is the statutory basis for the use of school facilities by community groups.

Board approval of this item will allow the changes to BP1330 to immediately be enacted.
Funding There is no direct financial impact as a result of this action.
Recommendation It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the addition to Policy 1330.
