Summary A change order is the formal documentation of an authorized change in scope to a construction contract. Approval ratifications are presented for the following project(s):

Bear Creek High School Emergency Repair Program (#8430) Approval #1 $204,805.00

Morada Middle School Emergency Repair Program (#8424) Approval #1 $13,787.00

All of the change order items within these Approvals have been authorized in the field by the District, as necessary modifications to complete the project, or to meet District requirements, and are submitted at this time for ratification by the Board of Education. The “A” Exhibits describe the details of the changes for all of the subject projects, while the “B” Exhibits summarize cumulative contract changes. Contingency funds were previously budgeted from the following projects:

Funding: State’s Emergency Repair Program

Morada Middle School Emergency Repair Program
Funding: State’s Emergency Repair Program
Funding The net change for each project is summarized above.
Recommendation It is recommended that the Board of Education approve ratification of the changes itemized in the attached “A” Exhibits. Exhibits describe the details of the changes for all of the subject projects, while the “B” Exhibits summarize cumulative contract changes.
